I had the great honor of working with the talented people at IO Interactive on the new Hitman 2. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity and I would like to give a shoutout to all the talented people who worked on the game, go check out their stuff here as well! :)
My primary responsibility was working with the art side of setpieces (gameplay assets and items), where I worked together with animation, gameplay and level designers. Keep in mind the size of the different objects varies a lot hence the variety in texture resolution and polygon counts.
All the assets were built with performance and gameplay constraints in mind, all made with LODs and collisions. Some assets also make use of tiling detail textures and decals.
